Side of the house. You can now see the window of my Favourite Room... Home Theater Room!

Family Room with a sleek window design at the right top side! On the left side.... Its a Bi-Part doors which can be opened during Summer. It makes the room looks really big. How about lap pool on the side... hmmmm... at this stage.. its free to imagine anything you want for your dream home. Might take a while to be completed but in the end, we know its worth it.

Kitchen Connection!?!

This is where my wife spent a fortune. Ceasar island kitchen benchtop with the cooktop and rangehood. The window frame looks bigger too. I wouldnt mind to become a master chef one day!

Study/Extra lounge?
Not quite sure what to do with it yet. Thinking of putting an informal lounge with electric fireplace and some bean bags.. or my 9 months baby girl can concentrate with her study in the future...

Home Theater Room

Ahh.. this is where my hiding place be. PS3 with a 120" projector screen. I will make this room the best entertaiment we can get!!!. : )

Double Garage

Frame on the first floor will be up soon.....

Family Room

Another Entertaiment section? Most probably for our relatives who quite dont want a big screen and a have a bit of a fresh air.. thats right..

Awaiting for Blacktown Council Approval?

Council Application was submitted on the 5th May hoping that this shouldnt take that long. Council requested to pay the Bond on 18th of May. I then called my wife to pay it immediately to avoid any delays. Guess What? Its been Almost 7 weeks and still no confirmation from our Builder. I called the builder on 05/06 and was advised that theres no issues at all and just waiting for the Construction certificate. I then followed it up with the officer after a week and found out that there are some issues. Officer advised that the tree at the front should be moved. Another Delays!!!!. We cannnot do anything unless council advised the builder what to do. I guess i might have to wait for another a month. Still waiting....

The Ponds Board has approved our Plan

Had some variations done on the building structure as The Ponds Board rejected our propose plan. It took them three weeks to approved it.

Finally... After two years of waiting!!!

Finally. We have decided to build with Metricon after two years of waiting.

Thought i would share this photo. I cant wait till Our Dream Home is done.

Searching for the Land???

Our journey begins back in 2008. We owned a Duplex at Rooty Hill after moving from Koragah back in 2005. Just right before the Global recession starts, we wanted to upgrade our Home from Duplex to a decent 2 Storey Home.

At first, we never thought of building our Dream Home until we drove past this big piece of land called The Ponds. We were then so interested. There was only about 5 to 10 Houses built that time. Then we thought this must be a good place to live in. Now, Houses that are being build are like mushrooms.

This photo was taken back in early 2008. We then decided to buy a land in July 2008.
